-CONTROLS--- NEXT SLIDE --> Z -ABOUT--- Another Metroid 3 Port (AM3P) aims to port Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) to the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The goal is to be as realistic as possible in terms of what the NES could do graphically. Sprites will be limited to a pallet of 3 (technically 4, though the first will always be transparency) colors picked from the original range of which it could display. All music will be limited to the amount of sound channels that the Famicom alongside Konami's VRC6 (not 7) sound chip extension provided.
-WARNING--- The music may come across as significantly creepier than the 16-bit synth originals. -NOTICE--- This should not be considered a replacement for playing the original on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Nor should this be ranked with any of the official games. You may offer any support to the project in general, though, as it's always welcome. -CREDITS--- -8-bit remixes done by Loeder https://www.youtube.com/@LoederMusic -Sprites by ObscuredMedal219 (ObscureMedalScratch), directed by ObscuredMedal219 (ObscureMedalScratch) https://scratch.mit.edu/users/ObscureMedalScratch/ -Original Super Metroid by Nintendo R&D1 AVAILABLE ON NINTENDO SWITCH ONLINE VIRTUAL CONSOLE SEE YOU NEXT MISSION
