In science class we learned about the mechanics of catapults then designed our own. In computer science class we were challenged to solve the design problem: How might we design a computer model that informs a user about how a catapult works? I used Design Thinking to create a Scratch Program that is a solution to the user need: Someone who wants to know about catapults needs to know about different catapult variables so as to create a far throwing simple catapult.
