Just two babies missing their mommy missing the only toy they’ve ever played with red, wet faces remember when we were two babies wishing we could grow up wishing we could graduate well, we did the second one. here’s a tear for the nice teachers hugging us, helping us loving us here’s a tear for the mean teachers bad people don’t seem so bad anymore and toddlers throw tantrums when they’re mad here’s a tear for the cafeteria I’ll never eat at again a dollar for ice cream $1.50 for two flipping juice cartons on the sticky table here’s a million tears for the memories and a million more for us just two babies goodbye to six years is the cruelest torture something I noticed through teardrops no one said “it’s alright” or “it’ll all be okay” we just cried like babies best friends for forever or at least for today here’s a tear…
