'SOMEBODY HELP ME!' the crouching cat screamed, her eyes tightly shut. Then, to her surprise, she felt no pain. The rats.. did they let go? She hoped they did. She opened her eyes and found out, much to her surprise, that she was in a forest. This was not particularly strange, she had seen plenty of forests. The peculiar part was that the forest was the blue of the sunhigh sky. She glanced around, dumbfounded. 'This isn't Thunderclan' she murmured. 'It isn't.' Pigeonpaw whipped around, to see a cat she didn't recognize. They were a similar age to her, brown with darker brown stripes and a white chin, chest and paws. Her green eyes glinted, amused. 'This is Starclan.' 'Starclan?' she echoed. 'That explains the blue forest, i guess. So... I ...died?' The unfamiliar cat nodded. 'It can be a shock. I'm Thicketpaw, and you would be..?' 'Pigeonpaw' she responded. 'I'm Pigeonpaw.' 'Well, Pigeonpaw, a member of the council should be here soon... ah.' Pigeonpaw turned to see what Thicketpaw was looking at, and stared in disbelief. Willowstar managed to kill the last rat herself. 'Is every cat okay?' she called, pushing her way through the worried crowd. Just then, Rustflight, her beloved deputy and mate, screamed, 'Willowstar, quick! It's...' her voice broke off, looking down at her. Willowstar ran over, and stared down in disbelief. There, leg tendons snapped, almost all fer chewed off, not to mention flesh, eyes scratched, vocal chords snapped, lay her daughter. 'Pigeonpaw...' she whispered. 'Did nobody see this happen?' she demanded to her Clan. 'No...' mumbled Gingerfleck, a warrior queen. 'We were all focused on you.' Rustflight tried to piece together what happened. 'These rats knew what they were doing,' he wailed, 'First, they took her legs, then her vocals, then her sight, and then the rest of her!' Rustflight crouched by her, head hung with grief. Willowstar joined her, vowing, 'Those rats will pay.'
