*ੈ✩‧₊《 ᵗʰᵉ ᵐᵒⁿˢᵗᵉʳˢ ᵃᵗ ⁿⁱᵍʰᵗ. ᵃ ᵖᵒᵉᵐ. 》*ੈ✩‧₊˚ ●○● Hey all <3 This poem isn't a poem really, since it's inspired by a true story that I'm sure many of you relate with. This poem is about the struggle of growing up. When you were younger, your parents tucked you in bed and offered you all the emotional support you needed. But as you grew older, you either grow too shy to ask for help - or no one gives it to you. This poem is about how the monsters you were once scared of transform into your mind, and how you spend all night trying to silence your doubts and your worries. All night, you cry, needing someone to promise, "It's okay," and needing a shoulder to lean on. But no one is there to give it to you. Anyways, yeah. I hope you enjoyed this poem as much as I enjoyed writing it! other recent poems: ➼ "we are friends" - a poem https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1044886522/ ➼ "I love you" - a poem: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1022863518/ ➼ "too scared to speak" - a poem: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1004965277/ ➼ "remember" - a poem: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/988036098/ ➼ Read my novel here!: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33655996/ ➼ Read more of my writing here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/33028240/ ●○● ╰┈➤ Fullscreen recommended! *ੈ✩‧₊˚ ✎ ѕтσяу: 225 words ◎ тɪмε: 2 days (one for writing, one for editing :D) ♡ тнιѕ ραят σf dєѕcяιρтιση: @ap0l0 ( ꈍᴗꈍ) ρℓєαѕє αρρяє¢ιαтє!: this took a lot of time & effort. tags (ignore)
