She quickly went to look for an empty compartment. But since many of them were either overcrowded or occupied by older students, only one remained. In it sat only a second-year Ravenclaw girl, who was engrossed in a book about Arimanthus. She sat quietly at the window seat opposite and stared at the landscape. Sometime later, the snack witch's cart arrived and the girl put her book aside. "Chocolate frogs and a pumpkin pie, thank you." She dropped the coins onto the cart. "Me too," she said and threw a few more sickles after it. After the snack witch shuffled into the next compartment, she spoke to the girl. "Hi, I'm Celeste Malfoy, and you?" "Jota, Jota Allay" She didn't even look up. "And which house are you in?" "Celeste was a little confused." In none at all... But probably soon to be Slytherin..." I think I'll be Slytherin soon," a voice called from the hallway. A girl with long dark hair sat down next to her. "Esther Lestrange, with pleasure." "Celeste Malfoy." Her voice sounded almost indifferent. "Jota Allay," it sounded from behind the book. Finally she put the book down, but only to immediately unpack a new one. Esther looked at her amused. "Well, you can tell that you're in Ravenclaw." Celeste raised an eyebrow. "Is something wrong?" The voice grew louder, a third year girl with waist-length hair appeared. Now Jota raised an eyebrow. "No, besides, you're not a prefect." "But I plan to be one," she replied confidently. "I have to go and see if Sirius is up to anything stupid." She rolled her eyes and walked out of the compartment again. Celeste breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't like being surrounded by lots of people, and even less by loud people...
