This takes place after day of the departed so there are spoilers! >:P just basically cole having some time readjusting after the events dotd)) "...What...happened?" Cole groaned, waking up. "Ugh, my head! It feels heavy and foggy, like a bag of rocks." He could barely remember what happened yesterday. He took his hand to rub his head when he noticed something strange. "AAGH!" He yelped as he saw his hand was back to its non-ghostly hue. And that's when he remembered what happened. The others came in kai entered first. "Cole- Are you okay?!" he seemed a little shaken up but it wasn't like Cole wasn't either. "Yeah- Just a bit startled- I forgot about what happened last night. I cant believe im...back!" He said in disbelief. The others started to walk in, Master Wu, Nya, Lloyd, Jay, Zane, and Pixal all gathered around him, with looks of worry on their faces. It all seemed a bit overwhelming to him. "Hes ok, just was a bit startled." Kai reassured them to everyone's relief. "Wow, you have a new scar now? Cool!" Jay exclaimed. "I do?" He questioned and started heading to the bathroom to look in the mirror. He didnt pay too much attention to walls as a ghost, after why would he need to? And so he subsequently walked into the wall. "Ow. Right- not a ghost anymore." he then walked through the door and looked in the mirror. He saw his scar on his forehead, it was an unnatural hue of green, similar in color to his ghost form... "Thats...new." He brushed his hair away from it...he exited the room with a baffled look on his face. "Wow. Its hard to think im like really 'alive' again." he said to the others. "Honestly, its hard for us to believe either i mean one second you're a ghost and the next you come through this portal and you're just back to being human again." Nya stated. Then Cole felt a strange sensation...it felt like he was being attacked from the inside in his stomach. "Guys- whats happening- my stomach is like-" and then he realized. It was hunger. That day they ate Coles choice of food. Cake, a whole lot of it. A good first meal back, after all when he was a ghost he missed cake a LOT. Being alive was new again, and strange. Sure itd take time getting used to but hed be willing to do it. As he watched the sunset with his friends that day he knew what he missed out on. As the sun was set everyone started doing their separate things throughout the monastery and Lloyd came up to Cole who was sitting on the edge of the rail, taking in the earth and stars. "Hey." he Greeted "Oh, Hi Lloyd," Cole replied "I wanted to talk with you...and apologize." "What why?" "Well might as well get this over with, Cole, i'm sorry. Ive been kind of distant from you ever since you became a ghost and that wasnt ok of me. The truth was ever since i was possessed by Morro, ive had a fear of ghosts...it was terrifying being trapped and possessed by some guy who wanted to hurt you guys and use me to do it...and when I finally was able to take control I was a bit scared of well, you." Cole sighed and nodded "I understand, If im being honest, it was pretty terrifying when Morro possessed you for all of us too, I mean, I didn't know when or If we were gonna get you back, especially without our powers." "Yeah, I guess it was pretty scary for both of us." Lloyd replied. "Hey Lloyd...what was it like...being possessed if you don't mind me asking." Lloyd sighed. "It was like being trapped but worse, you see what 'you' are doing but you cant do anything except try and resist the control...which is easier said than done. Even though it wasn't me, I felt kinda horrible for fighting you guys...and i was pretty horrified by what was happening." "Its rough you had to go through all that Lloyd," "Yeah... Do you mind if i ask you something now?" "Go ahead." "What was being a ghost like?" Lloyd asked, "It wasnt all good, and it wasnt all bad. It had some cool parts like getting to walk through walls or not being as worried about harm but it was kinda depressing knowing I was practically dead and that I no longer had a physical form. Also water, its a nightmare. Its almost everywhere and it was pretty nerve wracking when we had to go get the realm crystal underwater. I might need to be a bit more careful about remembering to drink water too now that I need it." "Heh, im kinda the same way with strong winds!" They chuckled at each other...and then came that awkward silence that happened when no one knew how to fill it- During that silence Coles fatigue showed itself as he yawned "Man- I forgot living could be so tiring...well its pretty late. Thanks for that talk Lloyd, it means a lot to me...Its good to know im not alone." Lloyd smiled. "Right back at you Cole. Im glad that we get to be like brothers." "Me too, Lloyd." And as Cole headed to sleep, just like that, the day was over. Little did they know that tomorrow a threat to time itself would approach.
