We must stay strong and get through this as one rather than four ❞ As the moons progress, the last week of Leaf-fall is unusually cold, but no cat could guess what was about to happen next. The leaders host an emergency Gathering, on the night they agree things need to be discussed among the Clans Things have gotten colder and they are barely able to hold the Gathering without cats shivering. Groups of the cats with the thickest fur are building reinforcing walls around the gathering clearing using the materials around them, and temporary dens are constructed to house the cats who have come to the Gathering The Gathering had less cats than it typically did, due to things being so last-minute and most chose to stay behind to keep their Clanmates warm Folks, I introduce to you Frostbite, Hidden Skies' first event. This takes place during the time of a harsh Leafbare, things getting colder than they usually are quickly during the end of Leaf-fall, only getting worse as the season progresses - Happenings of the Event - ~ Lack of herbs - With all of the cats getting sick, herbs will be essential, but without them cats will die. This will have a temporary system set up specifically. Only patrols with a medic on them can collect herbs and, with this system, only four cats can be on a patrol at one time. Medics can collect three herbs, their apprentices can collect two, and warriors and apprentices can only collect one herb at a time, so the more cats on the patrol the better. Regardless of if the wound healing (not sickness, because that will be spoken about below) is successful or not, the medic will still be using two herbs ~ Greencough / Whitecough - This will begin spreading among the cats, chances of gaining it being a 20% chance. If you get sick, it will start out as whitecough and as stage 1. When it reaches stage 3, it becomes greencough. Whitecough can be treated with two herbs and Greencough with three, but it isn't always successful, and the herbs are still used regardless ~ Suffering from the cold - If a kit were to sneak out of camp, they have a 10% chance of survival. Apprentices have a 30% chance of getting sick if they leave alone, and a 15% chance if they are with others. Warriors have a 10% chance of illness alone and a 5% chance if they're with others
