Don't remove letters just because they are useless. REASON: Removing "useless" letters could potentially ruin the orthography. 2. Don't add letters serving no reasonable purpose. REASON: Adding letters with no good use (like replacing a digraph) could be redundant. 3. Actually look at words with bad spelling issues. Make sure it looks good. REASON: This is the entire point of the experiment
