(edit: nyleam isn’t rlly a ventsona anymore) hi!! i’m just sharing a few refs, because uhhhh i haven’t really shared any refs and plus all of these are from the same universe/story!!! it’s kind of a vent but mostly just lore!!! list of characters: maelyn: protagonist kitt: deuteragonist ruby: deuteragonist epiphany: tritagonist luke: tritagonist dinky: tetartagonist blitz: tetartagonist schwarz: contagonist lauren: contagonist nyleam/impulse: antagonist lore (it’ll take a while to read bc i love rambling amirite): so, maelyn is in a fancy dream and then she meets kitt and her friend ruby (and an ai who kitt programmed, blitz, who gets attacked and leaked out of his computer by a virus called schwarz!!) so maelyn has anger issues and lashes out at kitt one day and summons nyleam, who is more well-known as impulse, a notorious murderer, and mostly represents mae’s negative feelings and thoughts. he kind of wants to take over maelyn’s mind bc he’s a crybaby L and he needs power- so she needs to stop nyleam before he takes over her mind. so she kind of meets a few people along the way, luke, a guy who was in charge of daydreams- but lost his job bc he kind of messed up (he’s also kitt’s love interest but uh ok). then she meets epiphany, who is just a person who represents her deeper and unconscious feelings- he likes to hide away from people sometimes (also he’s mae’s bf wowza /hj). dinky is a young student who knows how to build boats for some reason, and helped the others!! he was once found by two fishermen who hid him until the government found out and helped him socialise and learn english lmao- and lauren is a very problematic influencer (and ruby’s elder sister) who secretly funds nyleam to take over mae’s mind credits: art: @rickrollkitt code: @colorsnatch, @rickrollkitt songs: Fletcher Reed & Portair - Sleepwalking Again Mon Demon - Odelly (i love my family’s music taste lmao but my files don’t so i’m dumping my precious stuff here)
