Veronica was just a normal girl like any other! She went to school, got decent grades, had lots of friends, and had a normal life. One day her friend invited her to come over to her house! “Hey Veronica!” Lily said. “Yes Lily?” Veronica answered. “Want to come over to my place after school so we can practice for our exams and eat some snacks!” Lily said. “Sure I’d love to!” Veronica said happily. “K come to my class after school!” Lily said. After a boring biology and history class the bell had rung and Veronica ran to Lily’s classroom door to see their class hadn't ended yet. A few minutes later Lily came out saying she didn’t finish her work so she was late. So Veronica said it’s fine and they biked to Lily’s house in the forest. There was a really nice grandma who lived next door which always brought cookies and treats for Lily and Veronica. They always thanked grandma. “Hey Lily, my next subject for studying is maths!” Lily said excitedly. “How can you love maths so much Lily? Maths is boring” Veronica said. “Well can you please test me before we eat snacks?” Lily said. “Fine, let's start,” Veronica said. After a while Lily and Veronica ate all their snacks and Veronica was about to leave. “Wait, Lily, can I stay over? I’m scared” Veronica asked. “I’m so sorry, Veri but my mom doesn’t want sleepovers on weekdays! But I’m sure you’ll be fine, Bye see you!” Lily said. Veronica went out of the house and started walking through the forest. Terrified, Veronica turned on her lantern and walked. There were lots of owl noises which were normal. Halfway through Veronica heard a wolf howl which scared her half to death. She started running and she could see the end of the forest when she saw a black big shadow running after her. Scared she ran and closed her eyes as she didn’t want to see what happened. She opened her eyes and she was seeing through now. Her body seemed to be in the middle of the forest. She was terrified thinking how her family and friends would react. She just sat by the tree to see Lily walking to school when seeing Veronica’s dead body. She screamed so loudly that the apartments outside the forest came to find her. Everyone called the ambulance and they took Veronica to the hospital. Somehow she saw Lily smirking. “What is she smirking about…” Veronica thought to herself. At school Veronica was in the cheer practice place and she said “Guys since Veronica’s tragic accident I’ll be cheer captain!” Even at the principal’s office she had said she would take all Veronica’s places. Veronica got suspicious when she went to the secret room Lily would never show her it had all the ways she could get rid of Veronica and take all her places. So she was jealous all along.
