I feel a cold sensation run up my arms as he states, gently grabbing my hand, “Ren. Listen to me-” I yank my hand away, “NO! He looks at me while stating, “I hope you can forgive me for this…” He basically drags me towards the guards, “Found them!” My eyes widen in shock and betrayal, “Dad…” My body slams onto the ground and a guard gives Dad the bounty money, Dad turning around and walking away. The guards cuff me with chains that block my abilities off and they smack my head onto the ground, my vision blurring and fading until it fades to black. “What’s their name?” “Ren… I think. Ask them when they wake up.” My vision brightens to a bright light as a guard leaves, a girl looking about my age seeing me, “Oh. You’re awake.” “Where am I…?” She sighs, “You’ve been exiled to Arcten like the others that live here-” I sit up with a start, looking around at the cold lights, “What?! No I can’t-” Numbness takes over my body, my emotions fading away within seconds into an unknown deep abyss in my chest.
