☆ Hi! This is my entry for Starburst! I hope you like it :D ~*+ Press Space +*~ ☆ BIO ☆ ~ Name: Starburst ~ Clan: MallowClan ~ Role: Medicine Cat Apprentice ~*+*~ ☆ As a kit, Starburst was discovered by a MallowClan patrol by a riverbed. With no one found to claim him, they had no choice but to take him in. There was a queen, Birdlight, already nursing kits of a similar age; so she offered to take the kit in, naming him Starkit after his pale golden pelt. Starkit turned out to be a ball of uncontrollable energy that did not calm down as he got older. He was constantly climbing things, bouncing all over the camp, and rolling around in anything he could find. As an apprentice, he had far too much energy to hunt so he scared away all the prey, he was too rowdy when training to fight, and he was far too loud and exciteable for his mentor to handle; it didn't help that he spoke too fast and too high-pitched for anyone to understand. The last straw for his poor mentor was when he was held back when the other apprentices were named warriors because he couldn't even bring back one mouse. It was decided that, because he was unfit to be a warrior due to his uncontrollable energy, that he would be a medicine cat instead. He was special enough, anyways. ☆ The medicine cat, Lunawing, reluctantly accepted him as her apprentice. Despite accidentally scattering the herb stores a few times, he proved to be rather helpful. Life went on as normal, until she found out that Starpaw had been having dreams and visions about... well, he wouldn't say. But it wasn't good. She needs to get to the bottom of this, and fast, because patrols have been coming back with fewer cats than they left with and a mysterious sickness has been spreading like wildfire. But how do you get anywhere with a starry-eyed ball of puff that you can barely understand? ☆ ~*+☆+*~ ADDITIONAL NOTES: ☆ On the second drawing, he is an apprentice, so he is not completely grown. That's why his ear tufts are not fully developed into stars! ☆ The added yellow highlights are not additions to the actual design, they are just for a cool effect. ☆ I wasn't sure how to incorporate it into the picture, but the "before and after" doodle was of when Starkit was found by the river and after he was taken in! I just thought it would be fun to draw him as a little puffball haha
