I woke up this morning, earlier than ever before, in fact, I beat Uncle Pheastus. I quickly put on my jeans, and a t-shirt and headed downstairs with my trunk packed. I sat there for maybe an hour or so waiting for my dad to come down and take me to King's Cross. I started reading the textbooks. Some of them were really interesting. I read about a Basilisk from Hogwarts A History, updated edition. "Dad! I've been waiting for a few hours! Come on, I want to get to King's Cross!" I said quickly. "Alright, Matt. I know you're excited, but will you make me a cup of coffee while I change so we can get going!" Dad said, smiling and turning back around to go back upstairs. I quickly got up, got a traveling mug, poured some coffee, some half & half, and a pinch of sugar in and mixed it with a spoon. I like the dinging sound the spoon makes on the metal. I quickly screwed the cap on and sat at the table again. Dad came down the stairs a few minutes later with his wand out. "Is that mine?" He levitated the cup towards him. "Yup!" I said, grabbing my trunk. On the top part of my trunk it had my initials, MW. I dragged it along, my backpack slung over my shoulder, and in my left hand my cat, Night. She was a black tabby with bright blue eyes. //I wonder if I'll see Havi and Teddy at the station?// I thought to myself. We got in my Dad's car and headed to King's Cross. We got there and raced to Platform 9 3/4. "Alright, Matt, so you have to run at the middle point of platforms nine and ten. Got it?" I didn't answer because I was already running at the wall. I came through the other side, gazing in awe up at the crimson red train. "The Hogwarts express..." I whispered. Dad soon came through to the platform after me. "I guess you got it." He said. "Yeah, I got it!" I said, poking my finger through the bars to scrunch Night's ears. She purred slightly. I was still petting her when I heard my name called from off. I looked up and saw Teddy Lupin coming towards me. "Hi, Teddy!" I said. "Hi, who's this?" Teddy pointed at the Night. "This is Night, my cat." I said. Teddy turned. "There you are, I was wondering where you'd gotten to." He said to Havi Lupin, his twin sister. "I was lost in the crowd, sorry, hi Matt!" Havi said. "Hi!" I said. "You three must be getting on the train soon," Dad said. "Don't worry, Havi, Teddy, I'll tell your Grandmother where you've gone. Be sure to say bye out the window." I nodded and the three of us grabbed our trunks and headed on to the train. We shortly found an empty compartment and I opened the window. "Hi Dad!" I waved out of the window. I saw him talking to Mrs. Tonks. Teddy joined me, and Havi shortly as well. We all waved out the window as the train pulled away from the station.
