Instructions

A few days had passed and, come to think of it, I hadn't seen Jackie for a while. That morning, Teddy and I were trying to get Havi's attention when she was day dreaming. "Hello! Havi!" Teddy was shouting. "Huh, what?" Havi said. "What were you thinking about?" Teddy asked. "I'm just worried about Jackie." Havi said. "Well, we got to get to class anyway so that ought to keep your mind off it." I said, swinging my bag over my shoulder. We were walking down the hallway to Transfiguration when I spotted something shiny. "What is that?" I asked, perplexed. "Dunno." Havi and Teddy said together. Havi picked it up and began twiddling with it. "Let me see." Teddy took the object. All of a sudden, there was a flash and it started to spin really fast. "What the-?" Teddy said. But no one answered, they were being thrown through time. We landed when Havi had said "Jackie!" and the shiny object exploded. We saw Jackie standing with someone else I didn't recognize. "Hi, Emily!" Havi said to the other girl. The two girls looked at the three of us with shocked looks. "What are you doing here?!" Jackie said. "Uh, we kinda go to school here, so. . ." Teddy said. "I mean, just turn around!" She said. I whipped around and was faced with the silver bearded, half-moon spectacled former Hogwarts headmaster, "Dumbledore. . ." Havi said weakly. "Hello, you three must be the exchange students from the United States of America." Dumbledore winked at them. "Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, is it?" I nodded quickly. "Yes, we were just showing them to class." Emily grabbed my arm and Jackie grabbed Teddy's and Havi followed as we were dragged to a presumably empty classroom. "How is he still alive?!" Havi asked. "Well, you see, you have time traveled. You are in our time." Emily said. "We used a Time-Turner by accident, and got back from your time." Havi looked surprised as she turned to us. "Ah, so that's what it was, a Time-Turner, I knew I recognized it. I must have read about it in a book somewhere." She said. "Yes very helpful, now can you tell us how to get back!" Teddy said, a little flustered. "We can't, it exploded remember?" I said, dryly. "Great! We're stuck here!" Teddy said, slumping down in a chair. I sat down in the one next to his, frowning. "Hey! Are these your new friends? Hi, I'm Hermione Granger, Jacqueline's older sister." Hermione shook my hand. "Nice to meet you." I said. I looked at the two boys behind her. One had green eyes and messy black hair, which covered a lightning scar, next to him was a red haired boy, who looked kind of like my dad. "You're Harry Potter." I said. "You must be my uncle, Ron right?" "Yeah, I'm Ron, what do you mean 'uncle'?" He asked. "Well, you married-" Havi put her hand over my mouth. "You can't tell him that! One thing you should know about time is that you can't tell someone what's going to happen!" She whispered. "No, let's come clean."
