"Password?" the fat lady asked, her white gown dragged down to the floor of the painting, "Caput Draconis" Ginny replied but the portrait wouldn't budge, Ginny looked nervously at Luna, she covered her ears, knowing that any loud noises near her would cause pain, but Luna swiped the hands away as if she were trying to shoo a fly. "Ginny," she said placing a hand on Ginny's shoulders, "I have a lot of questions. One. Why are you taking me to the Gryffindor common room when I'm a Ravenclaw and two-" Her sentence was cut short when the fat lady in the portrait took out a glass goblet and was singing so high and loud that her sensitive ears couldn't handle it, even if she covered them the sounds still pained her, physically and emotionally. "please," Ginny begged "we need to get before my brother-" her begs were drowned by the portrait's singing, now higher and horrible than ever. Tears welled up in Luna's eyes, her ears not handling it anymore. "ENOUGH!," Ginny bellowed, the fat lady stopped singing, the whole corridor was silent "just let us in! We're tired of hearing your singing! It's ear threatening!" the portrait gave an annoyed scoff and swung open, Ginny grabbed Luna's hand as they entered the warm common room. Red and orange enflamed in her eye's. Red banners of lions filled the walls, a board contained all the notices and events at Hogwarts, red couches were near a warm fire greeted her warmly. "Are you ok?" Ginny asked concerned, a thought came into Luna's head: she wasn't suppose to be here. She isn't even a Gryffindor, why is she in their common room? "I have to go" she said hastily, Ginny grabbed her hand again, "wait," she called, "you can't go now. Percy'll see you and he's going to put you in big trouble for something stupid!" "I thought you said he takes his prefect duties very seriously!" "well to YOU he doesn't!" Luna hesitated, she had already felt a bit homesick and was already missing the Ravenclaw common room with it airy roof and blue cushiness everywhere. She hesitated, thinking weather or not if she should go back. "I know it's not your common room," Ginny began, noticing Luna's struggle to decide, "but you'll be safe from Per-" "Oi Ginny!" A voice interrupted her, "I thought we were the only trouble makers in the school" Luna looked up, two tall identical boys with fiery red hair (just like Ginny's) were smirking at Ginny and her. "Yeah," one of the boys said, "I didn't know you could bring Ravenclaws into our Gryffindor den" "Very funny," Ginny said dryly, she turned to Luna, "Luna, these are my brothers. Fred and George. Fred, George, this is my friend, Luna Lovegood" "Phew," the boy who was supposly named Fred joked, "I thought she was going to be a Malfoy for a moment" Luna felt her heart sink. Technically, she was a Malfoy. At least her father was, he was the disowned brother of Lucius Malfoy, but after marrying Pandora Lovegood, Luna's mother, his family disowned him because Pandora associated with muggles, he later took on the maiden name. "Actually," Luna began, her dreamy voice replaced with coldness, "I technically, I am a Malfoy. Ever heard of Lucius?" the two boys stared at her, their mouths opened in shock. "Luci had another child?" the other boy asked Luna shook her head, "No, he's my uncle"the twins e jaws opened, "Luci is an uncle?" Luna nodded, "Yes, but the last time I saw him when I was 5" "So your telling me that you brought a Ravenclaw Malfoy spy" Ginny rolled her eyes, "Only because Percy was being a dumbass again" Fred smirked, "Well then let's see if the intelligent Ravenclaw can beat the masters of pranks" Luna held a mischievous face, "Let's see then"
