If you do not know the lore and backstory of the game Rain world and wish to discover it on your own, DO NOT READ ANY FARTHER!!! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Some of the following text has been taken from the official Rain world wiki page on Iterators =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= As their name implies, Iterators were created by the Ancients (basically what I think of as people in Rain world) to iterate on a solution to the Great Problem. They also were tasked with taking control of the Ancients' daily troubles in an effort to help the people achieve Ascension easily. AL was created a while after the Void Fluid revolution (a time when Void Fluid, a very essential component to robotics, building, and the creation of iterators). These iterators ran on water, which caused all the area below to suffer from periodic extreme rain. After the last of the Ancients were gone, she and the other iterators began to work on two different issues—one assigned to them by their creators, and the other brought to attention by the Iterators. AL was given the purpose of finding out ways to create light natural light for the creatures of the world (which at the time of the Ancients were being used for household chores). The lights on her body are powered by her facility, but after time she discovers other natural glowing substances she decorates herself with such as a water lotus and highly reflective pearls. Her first creation and determined as a success to her mission was the slugcat Glowfish (owned by me). This became her traveler for a while, until he disappeared. She recalled him only once, which was to bring her a special light blue pearl. She inscribed this pearl with a message for Five Pebbles and capsuled it in a dark blue substance with clear dotted cloth along it to keep the writing fresh. The superstructure which she resided in had previously been flooded from Five Pebbles' extreme water intake. After the water intake started to slow, her superstructure started to drain. The only problem was, her structure was filled with aquapedes, which could only reside in water. When the water slowly drained, the aquapedes slowly turned to centipedes, until her whole structure was infested. Due to their electric capabilities, her structure started suffering from overcharge, in which the only know way for her system to fix it, was to do a hard reset. Knowing this would destroy her, she sent out her overseer to find and bring in a traveling slugcat who's mission was to take her pearl to Five Pebbles. I DO NOT OWN the lore of Iterators and Video Cult in NO WAY owns most of the lore mentioned in the description, as my rw characters are made in an au where canon lore is changed.
