[Press Green Flag!] Tigger finally gotten old enough to start saddle training! He's somewhat used to the tack, but today will be the first day I ride him! 1-6: I went out into the paddock and put his halter on, and begun leading him into the barn. 7-9: I clipped him into the crossties of my barn and went to go get the grooming kit. 10-13: I gave him a quick groom [although, it turned out to be longer than I expected because SOMEONE *coughcough* had been rolling in the mud {and I mean you, Tigger >:( }] 14-18: I tacked him up... 19-21: Led him into the indoor arena... 22: And mounted up. 23-25: He was going super well in the warmup! He is responsive and listens well. 26: But then, when I was asking for a canter, he began bucking and I fell off. 27: ... 28: After getting back on he seemed to be calmer, and picked up the canter perfectly. 29: My nephew Elijah set up some tiny verticals for me to try and go over. 30-32: Tigger was a little confused, but he did it! We decided to end there on that happy note. 33: ... 34: Back in the paddock, I gave him some treats for being such a good boy <33 35: And that's everything! I'm looking forward to training Tigger further, and he has so much potential <33
