MECHS: Nuphing (Prototype Defense Mech NU-P41N9) A powerful mech designed as an experiment by the Felinians. It was abandoned on one of Felinix's moons after the project was scrapped, where it lay for decades until Captain Tubehead discovered it. Why does it have both a positive and negative wire coming out both sides of the "battery pack"? Who knows? And who cares? Tiger After Captain Tubehead found and fixed up Nuphing, her younger sister (illegally) built her own mech based off of it. Tiger is all about the guns, with a massive cannon powerful enough to knock the mech off its feet if it doesn't dig in properly. Danger Kitty This mech was actually legitimately acquired, designed for fighting forest fires on Felinix. Blanton named it "Danger Kitty" after the danger of flying into fires, but it is indeed quite the danger to its enemies now that it's been repurposed for fighting with fire instead of against it. Shadow Fast as lightning and twice as deadly, Shadow's cloaking technology lets it ambush with ease, bringing mechs down before they even know they've been attacked. It's smaller than the other mechs, but certainly not lesser. WolfBone* On Zeta-K9, the planet Commander Cupface comes from, weaponized mechs are completely legal and in fact strongly encouraged. He clearly didn't build it considering his incompetence as a mechanic, but refuses to tell anyone where it came from. WolfBone was originally blue, but had to be repainted for uniformity when he was promoted to a command rank.
PILOTS: Katie Tubehead (Pilot of: Nuphing) Captain Tubehead is a Felinian who leads her team with claws, fangs, and more confidence than is probably merited. She's fearless in both battle and cooking, easily destroying her enemies. (Don't try her salmon frittata if you don't want to burn your tongue off.) Amber Tubehead (Pilot of: Tiger) Katie's sister and second in command. An excellent sniper and engineer, she's in charge of maintenancing the mechs. And boy is there a lot maintenance to do... Amber is the strongest out of all of them, but prefers to do her fighting from a distance. Blanton Kleef (Pilot of: Danger Kitty) Originally a firefighter, now just a fighter. Clearly he still has a thing for fires, though, considering the number of flamethrowers his mech is equipped with. His suit is largely fireproof. Blanton also has a crush on Captain Tubehead. She does not return the sentiment. Sigrid (Pilot of: Shadow) Don't be fooled by her cute and cuddly appearance; Sigrid is deadly. This is one kitten you won't want to cross! Agile as her mech, she has no problem keeping up with the older cats. She's pretty tight-lipped about her past, possibly in part because she can't actually talk, but they're fairly sure she's only half-Felinian. That fur color!... Spotty Cupface* (Pilot of: WolfBone) Commander Cupface originally held the rank of captain and led his own team like Captain Tubehead does. In fact, they were trained together. However, Spotty was deemed too much of a liability and was promoted to get him off the field. Katie resents him for that to this day. *Neither WolfBone nor Commander Cupface are members of Team Iron Claw.
