THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL RELEASE OF THE GAME. THIS IS A VERSION FOR THE DEVELOPERS. -CONTROLS--- A --> Z B --> X START --> S SELECT --> A D-PAD --> ARROW KEYS -ABOUT--- Another Metroid 3 Port (AM3P) aims to port Super Metroid for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) to the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). The goal is to be as realistic as possible in terms of what the NES could do graphically. Sprites will be limited to a pallet of 3 (technically 4, though the first will always be transparency) colors picked from the original range of which it could display. All music will be limited to the amount of sound channels that the Famicom alongside Konami's VRC6 (not 7) sound chip extension provided.
-October 10th, 2024 at 11:27 PM- \Added some comments throughout the project \Removed energy UI functionality temporarily \Started work on tile code (still super unfinished) \Changed the "Load Game" menu option to skip the prologue temporarily -October 10th, 2024 at 1:34 PM- \Added the tile sprite (Has no functionality yet) \Made my own version of the boxart. -July 30th, 2024 at 3:5X PM- \Imported the newest version of the dev build. Nothing actually made by me has been added. -July 23rd, 2024- \Fixed a bug where the ghost value wouldn't be reset when the intro was skipped. -July 22nd, 2024- \Made the intro sequence skippable. (Not the scene where Samus explains what's happened up to that point. The scene right before the title screen.) The only edits were made to the title screen sprite. For some reason, I thought this would be a larger ordeal than it actually was. It may be a little clunky, but it'll work good enough for the time being, at least. By the way, Obscure, are you wanting to work on the physics or would you like me to?
