Can’t say much because otherwise scratch will remove it again. Fly high Aubreigh Wyatt <3 Inspired by Pearl Jam’s song Jermey ( “ king Jermey the wicked, ruled his world.”) For all the victims of the subject matter ♡ #LIAW #PearlJam Also my featured short story also got taken down and I’ll work on bringing it back up soon
Such a pretty face, eyes that wished to see innocence, That the world sewed shut, Tracing the stitching, that hangs from the door frame, Such a cruel world, for such a little girl, Just because some people don’t have hearts. And there’s a candle sitting on the birthday cake, And you’re singing to an empty chair, Such a sad moment, for the best day of her life, Because she slipped away. And you remember the moment that tore your soul, As hers began to fly with wings that weren’t ready, And you remember the day you promised would never come, As you sit there and weep, wondering what you’ve done, Such a cruel world, for such a little girl, Maybe if it wasn’t so wicked, The story wouldn’t be the same. Such a young age, to have your name erased, They’ll repeat it, but it won’t mean the same, And they’ll say, “ well, it couldn’t be mine,” It’s not like you can read their mind by looking into their eyes, If only you knew the tears they cried that night. And there’s a letter on the floor, By an unopened door, And you can’t change, The way she decided to say goodbye. Because nothings changed since Jermey Wade, Because nothings changed in this life, Because we’re just kids, It just feels like that this is the way. And they’ll say, “ you just gotta survive,” Brush off the leaves and you’ll be fine, Another statistic added to the chart, And you just sit there and wonder why. And there’s a grave where your child lays, Because no flowers can bring such a beautiful soul, Back to life. And you remember the moment that tore your soul, As hers began to fly with wings that weren’t ready, And you remember the day you promised would never come, As you sit there and weep, wondering what you’ve done, Such a cruel world, for such a little girl, Maybe if it wasn’t so wicked.. And you remember the moment that hurt you, A share of her pain, who’ll never be replaced, If only things changed, If only things weren’t the same, Such a cruel world to be a kid in these days, Maybe if it wasn’t so wicked, It would be another life saved. ( so light up another candle) A wicked world ( so light up another candle) A wicked world ( it’s too early to say goodbye) This was never supposed to be the end.
