Remixing this to spread awareness. AI basically steals artwork from a million actual artists to make soulless slop. Even though I saw it coming, this very much ironically goes against the website's slogan itself (/Imagine/, Share, Program). One could argue that making the prompts require imagination, but it is equivalent to ordering food from outside and calling yourself a chef. Sure, drawing may be hard to master, but it is easy to learn. There are an ample amount of drawing tutorials and resources available for free on the internet. YouTube is an example of a brilliant source for learning art. scratch itself also has pretty versatile bitmap and vector editors, but there are multiple free art apps available (e.g: ibis paint, firealpaca, autodesk sketchbook, etc) If you don't want to draw, you can request stuff from actual artists who have their requests open, rather than resorting to AI. One such place where you can make requests is https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/11/ and any designated studio/user. (Avoid making requests to users who don't have them open, please ^^) Additionally, you can also commision artists offsite to support them, but that is one thing I cannot go into detail in this project, as this involves having to pay money. This is just my take on this situation. Thank you for reading ^^
Thanks to @kirbyfan767 for the original project. ^^ The disappointed axolotl drawing is that of my fursona Quip. (Art by me)
