The villain finally captured the hero… He dragged them back and threw them into one of the cells, chained up. They have a satisfied look on their face, their gloved hands behind their back as they tap one of their boots against the hard floor. They click their tongue and smirk. “Oh, what do I do with you now? I mean, the hero finally lost… Wow. It was that easy to get you to surrender?” They laugh coldly, taking a step closer to the hero as they rip the tape off of their mouth. The hero winces, trying to free one of their hands, but the villain glares at them. He kneels down in front of the hero, grabbing their chin so they’ll look at him. “Look, hiding your face isn’t going to make our problems any better. So when I free you, you WILL take that mask off, and you will not try to fight me? Got that? Good.” They effortlessly undo the chains, still relishing in the moment of satisfaction. They slam the door to the cell shut, blocking it with a nearby object. They listen to the hero sigh and curse under their breath, pulling themselves up onto their feet and letting their mask fall to the floor. Letting their guard down as they stare at the floor, their whole body shaking as their hands clench into fists. “..I TRUSTED you?” That voice was so… Familiar, I- I mean, the villain, could recognize it from a mile away. He was almost frozen in shock. That… Was his lover. “I can’t believe you. You’re a… A monster.” That hit him hard. It was like a stab to their heart, hearing those words. And it echoed in their head, over and over again. “..You may have been captured, but… You don’t deserve this.” I held my hands out to them. “..Turn me in. I can’t stand seeing you like this because I did something unforgivable. I’ve hurt you over and OVER again!” “..I will.”
