I saw that this was still open and wanted to enter because, uh, ✨inspo✨ I'm also going to make another remix with the version that moves lol (procreate dreams yippee) INTRO. I absolutely /love/ the og piece, especially the colors and shading- I’ve never done a DTIYSE before, but the way my brain worked with this was to pick out certain parts that I liked and expand on those, so, in this case, the colors and shading. Anyways, I included an explanation for the changes I made and my process because the speedpaint was too big of a file for scratch :') PROCESS. 1. Original drawing I love <33 2. sketch (whoa) The pose is so wonky- 3. Lineart My lineart never looks that much like my sketch tbh 4. Flat colors + flat background Why does the background look that bad- >:0 (side note: I need a better way of watermarking my art lmao) 5. Unfinished background, shading on character icky 6. Finished background, no shading on character it already looks done lol 7. All shaded!!!!11!1 yayyy (we aren't done *sobs*) 8. THE /FIRST/ VERSION OF THE FINAL I put it in the procreate machine- (added text, little extra bit of shading, and put it back in iArtBook to add sparkles and the border) 9. THE FINAL FINAL!11!!1 I blurred some parts :') its very hard to see the difference BUT ITS THERE I PROMISE- CHANGE EXPLANATION. So, uh, I kind of just want to justify the changes I made real quick lol- I definitely brought out more of that pink and orange, so I think it looks a bit more like its daytime now? The character's design is very regal, especially with the crown, so I put some emphasis on the crown and put her in a pose that's more opened. And I don't know that much about Nora, but I imagine her as an adventurous person, so I drew more clouds around her, kind of like she's exploring through them. (you guys I honestly don't know how to put the changes I did into words?? Whatever lol) (If you can figure out how many hearts I hid in here, I’ll draw you a shaded icon ;3) CREDITS.
