AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUUCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AND THEY ANNOUNCED PLUSHIES OF THE MAIN CAST EARLIER TODAY THEYRE SO CUTE FGHUDIOKSHNBJFHVEDGNJMSK i dontknow what to write here sorry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! again i love this game. so sosososso much. it is so cute and fun and weird and janky and it just means so much to me im so unbelievably glad it exists <3 this drawing took me a little over 5 hours.. its absurdly late rn as im typing this and im super tired sorry if all this is nonsense xD i reused an old sketch thumbnail concept from a while ago for this as i didnt have many ideas.. i think i actually included that thumbnail in one of my artdumps on here so uh shoutout if u recognize that somehow haha part of me sorta wished i did a bigger, more grandiose piece for this that reflects some big plot stuff.. (or something that included more greens since its such a prominent part of the games color palette XD) but at the same time i think this is pretty fitting.. not to wax poetic abt this goofy famicom game but theyre just friends hanging out and chatting.. and mother 1 especially i think has this feeling of just. a bunch of kids on this big adventure. like im not sure how to really describe it but this game has such a distinct tone and feeling to it that carried across my entire playthrough (and that i even picked up on when first experiencing it thru pikaspreys stream vods).. its very... cozy and nostalgic while also having this overlying sense of. dread? the feeling that really anything is a danger to you and ur party.. it just really resonated with me idk okay thats enough rambling i dont know where im going with this!!!! next artdump is soon hopefully i just cant access scratch on my computer currently so i cant mass upload stuff easily. brace urselfs cuz there is A Lot
