I wrote this poem for my friend after she told me she was scared of us growing apart.
Talk about high school Talk about growing up We’ll still be together So strongly in love A friendship is special It’s stronger than all A love so large For children so small We will always be children at heart You could build a million walls And nothing would keep us apart We will stay together till the end I know that because you are my very best friend I will keep you safe and sound Until we are buried gently under the ground This is my promise to you So love me like you do But no matter what happens I'll love you till my world blackens I'll hold your hand through all of your hardships We’ll grow stronger together Trust me I promise You love me more But I love you most You’ll be my best friend Even when we are ghosts
