| Daddlepaw wasn't one to all of a sudden wake up in the middle of the night. It was a day before the ceremony in which she became a warrior. tomorrow tomorrow- no just stop thinking about it! she sighed placing a paw to her forehead and took a shaky breath. she just needed some time outside, it was probably stuffy as she headed one step at a time. as if the walking pattern added anything to it. "like anyone cares all those furballs in their little nests while I have.. nothing. where's my siblings? where's my mom at?!" she cried out into the mental void. It couldn't talk or give a answer back. she broke down at her spot near a bush and started to sob, the heavy tears soaking the ground. "no one came... it's like everyone pauses.. then starts- oh." she got up and glanced around with a sharp look making sure no one could see her meltdown. after the check she gave a slight nod. "o- ok I'm good here" she said to herself sitting on the ground with her tall frame. well tall and shortest one in the family. family. could she call them one? her mom gave her up to be alone in kithood it was the other older cats that made sure she could have food to eat all these moons. no she didn't have a family. she was alone in a void of misery. they said to not start a sentence with and but oh how she hated the feeling. she watched everyone else go on while she was stuck in a pool of tar. she looked up at the sky for a moment and narrowed her eyes. yes the stars caused this! they were the source of the pain and the other thing she saw lately. It bothered her that no one else in flurry noticed. It all happened one day when she walked into the nursery on a search for her mom- a major failure and she saw kits. the kits were all too big yet they stayed that way for a way until recently. She had called it a aging phenomenon but the kits all looked healthy there was no side effects. How could a kit get older and be perfectly fine? The ground was the same. The camp was the same but the cats were different- all of them expect her enemy of course rho was still arrogant as ever if they met a third time. The phenomenon had to be fixed by now.. she hoped it was pretty awkward walking around camp seeing giant kits and stunted apprentices who looked two moons older than their appearance. she looked at the sky still fixtated on it and screamed into it with all her might, clawing at the ground. "you'll play for this starclan all of you fools! every single one of you!" at this point she didn't make sense she ranted like a dementia cat. after a moment she looked at the ground then looked back at the den. she could fix this.... but it was better to let the feelings win they wanted to be normal and she wouldn't give them that. never. everyone had a breaking point and daddlepaw's was broken. |
summary: daddle grows up and thinks the age gaps are something related to starclan and slowly starts to lose faith in them. she also has a behavior change becoming more hostile and paranoid.
