[ introduction ] Heyyyy so uh- sorry about not posting for a while. I’m working (very slowly) on some stuff, which is what this project is mostly about. Firstly, though, you might notice that little thing saying ‘introduction’ up there… Yes, you guessed it, I’m going to make my project descriptions more organised in the future!!!! Yes very thrilling I know [ 1: potential new comic?? ] Hah yes you read that right! I’m semi-planning a higher quality, more original comic! And no, APoNS is not going away. I love the characters to bits and anyway it’s nice because I don’t really have to think about plot lol- Anyway, my potential new comic doesn’t have a title yet (feel free to make suggestions!), but it does have a few characters and a vague plot line. It’s set in the far future, where everything on earth is automated. People don’t have to do anything unless they want to, and life is easy. But the systems occasionally break down and need maintenance. My comic follows a group of students who’ve been selected to join a specialised academy and train to be Engineers, spending their lives in dangerous and adventurous situations to maintain everyone else’s wellbeing. Hopefully I’ll get enough interest that I’ll actually go ahead with making it, because I’m loving my ideas so far (and have even designed two of the main characters! Watch out for my next art dump :D) [ 2: motivation ] My motivation is… all over the place. Mostly I want to draw humans, but I also really want APoNS chapter 9 out. So it’s slightly complicated. The Cirdors MYO remake has been shelved for now, because it’s just too much work for me to handle right now. On the plus side, I’ve done over half of the updated APoNS refs I was planning to do! Which is definitely a relief. They’ll probably be out before mid august. [ 3: clarification of something ] There’s one last thing I need to clarify- Catz is officially my sona and main. Dawnfeather doesn’t really represent me anymore, and will primarily be a comic oc. She’s still my pfp though, partly because she definitely still matters to me and partly because I can’t be bothered with drawing another one. [ 4: outro ] Thanks for reading this slightly odd project! I’m feeling slightly aaaaaaaa right now about stuff I’m doing, and quite frankly I’d love to draw people art. — Updates — ~ I’m like 90% sure that I’ll call the comic diodes’n’daisies, thanks @Pikaspark178 for the idea :D ~ I’ll share a lore project + cameos for the comic once I’ve completed chapter 1, and the chapter will be out a few days after that. I’ll try to have a nice buffer to make sure it’ll be reasonably frequent.
