Open in Turbowarp for better performance. A segment editor/creator for the mobile game Smash Hit which has all the features you need to make some very simple segments (parts of levels). The project is capable of importing/exporting an xml segment file, but the mesh file (which is essential for the game) has to be made by other software (you can make one from an exported xml file!) Press the blue buttons in the menu to edit the values of the variables controlling the selected object Press the circular arrow button in the menu to see page 2 of the parameters (currently used only for decals) Editor currently supports: -Adding and modifying objects (boxes, obstacles, etc.) -Importing and exporting segments -Free camera movement Editor doesn't support yet: -Obstacle parameters (rotation, speed, etc.) -Visual decal rotation in the editor -Custom Tile Sizes -Box coloring (currently limited to templates) -Hiding objects Forwards direction is -Z and the camera height is 1.0 Warning! To export a segment succesfully, a Segment object needs to be the first object on the Object List (it is by default), the variables can only have letters, numbers, spaces and some symbols (-_/)
INSTRUCTIONS: WASD, QE, Arrow Keys to move/rotate the camera Press R to reset camera Press Menu to view/edit the object parameters Press 1 or 2 to select the previous/next object Press Z/Add Box to add a box object to the scene Press X/Add Obstacle to add an obstacle to the scene Press 0/Delete Selected to delete currently selected object Press V/Copy Object to copy currently selected object Click on Export Scene to export the scene to the "level" list Press C/View List to see the "level" list (the segment will be in here after exporting, right click on it and press export to save the file on your computer, you can also import an xml segment file from the game into this list, generate it and edit however you like!) Press G/Generate Level to generate a segment from the "level" list (use it after importing a segment)
