Once the battle starts, you get to choose your move: Bash: Attacks the enemy. Defend: Makes you receive less damage for one turn. Magic: Opens the magic menu. White text specifies move, blue number specifies magic points needed to use the move. Magic move descriptions below. Items: Select from a preset group of items by pressing the number of the item in the list. NOT IN GAME YET... Check: Use to view the enemy's name, attack, defense, and current health. View stats: hold to view your own stats. Magic descriptions: Fire: Major damage to the enemy. Freeze: Minor damage to the enemy and make it do nothing the next turn. Regen: Adds one to your regen counter, which gives you that number of health each turn for that battle. Also permanently increases max magic by 2. Heal: Instant health to you and increases max health by 2. Def-up: Increases your defense by 1 permanently. Atk-Up: Increases your attack by 1 permanently. There is kind of a level up system... You see... certain magics permanently increase your stats, and with magic restored after every battle, you can use those magic points in battle as exp to "level-up" Note: Damage is dealt as attacker's attack-defender's defense
