Day 1 The Asphose Rig a rough hills that cut through the north of the Firefly Kingdom. In the face of three armies coming to crush the Sheildholt push into Firefly territory. They decide to set up on the hills. the largest army coming for them will hit them on the north and east. As such they set up on the southern side of the hills leaving them open to the smaller south army. General Carnal of the 01-5 Core was expect to be the last army to show up. Just a force to put pressure from another direction. Instead, he takes his men through a series of roads that allow them to show up a day before the other armies. Now in sight of the larger but still preparing army of Sheildholt. He attacks at 1800 hour. Sheildholt General shocked by the sudden attack and the size of this army. Convinces the Sheildholt Generalto pull more troops from the defensices to crush this smaller army. This splitting between the defenses and the field army was plan of General Carnal. His Calvery and the ranger unites had marched east of the battle and now changed directions to come from the south east of the Sheildholt army. In this early fighting The Firefly Line turns to be facing east. Sheildholt still engaging now faces west. This mistake becomes Cystal clear when the Firefly Calvery was spotted east of them heading strait into the back of the line. Sheildholt pulls back to form a half circle to continue fighting the 01-5 Core, and to protect the camp from the Calvery Charge. The failing of this surprise attack annoyed General Carnal. He already taken in losses will no support. The sun finally comes down marking the end of the first day of fighting. Day 2 The 01-6 Core neared the rigs before dawn, a messenger came yesterday to tell them about the fighting the day before. As such they sped up to relieve the 01-5 Core. Due to the rough hills, they left there cavalry behind. When they reached the rigs, they placed their heavy guns close to the line as soldiers would shoot and step forward after each shot. The wall of troops in this motion moved step by step closer. The hills erupted with gun fire, as shells crashed into the hills taking out chucks of the Sheildholt line. In the south General Carnal experimented with a new form of battlefield tactics. He set up a hot air balloon and set a man up to survey the battlefield. The balloon went up and immediately was being shot at by Sheildholt troops thinking it was a weapon. The Hot air balloon survived but after landing it caught on fire a few seconds later when the man inside of the balloon got out. The survey informed General Carnal of the locations of enemy troops, which were focused on the south. This discovery was shared with the general of the 01-6 Core. Messengers start heading back and furth, in the end the two generals agreed to surround the enemy army for now, until the third army comes. At 1052 hour, the Sheildholt army crashed into the 01-5 Core, not much would happen on the first wave. Then the second wave came; it was spearheaded by cavalry followed by a line of troops. The Firefly troops formed squares and replied to the charge. The cavalry stuck to the line and pulled back revealing the infantry behind coming fast. The Firefly troops rush into lines to maximize their fire power. The second wave was replied at the high cost for both sides. No breaks were taken as the third wave had formed and charged. It was not until the fourth wave came that the line finally buckled. What seemed to feel like hours was a few minutes before troops started to step back. General Carnal, seeing his troops about to break, ordered a full charge of every cavalry man he had. It came in time the line started to run. The cavalry ran through the falling back army giving a break for the troops to reform. Now the lines were closer to the artillery for better support and now had access to the artillery defensive mounds and shallow trenches.General Carnal decided to form a defensive formation until the third army could help. At 1223 hour, The 01-8 Core was half a mile from the battle, half a mile from an army nearing its limit. The 01-5 Core had finally reached the point that General Carnal ordered a fighting retreat. The Sheildholt army rushed to get as far as they could. The Troops stuck on the hills began to pull back when the 01-6 Core ordered a charge. The Sheildholt troops on the hills now out of their defenses are crushed. The 01-8 Core getting a letter that the 01-5 Core had broken sent their light cavalry to interest with the Sheildholt. With hope this will prevent their escape. Day 3 The Sheildholt army had gotten out and made it south in the undefended countryside. When cavalry of the 01-8 Core caught them taking out the army's rear guard which contained the last of their heavy guns. The 01-8 Core broke into smaller companies that fan out across the countryside, when find Sheildholt troops they shoot a rocket into the sky and quickly 01-8 Core companies surround and crush the.
