WOOOOO I’m right on time- *0* Broski my hands were legit speeding across my screen trying to get this done in time because it’s been a while since I’ve done a MAP part and I wanted to actually complete this one T-T I’m glad I got it done though! The quality is making me sob but overall I really like it for now :) —- So I did some different scenes from different books featuring Longtail, because he’s my all time favorite character and has been since I started reading the series in 2020! This guy has one of the best character developments in my opinion and just a really interesting character arc. I love him so much <3 So first up we have the scene in Fire and Ice while Swiftpaw becomes an apprentice. I know practically everyone in these series is related in the most complicated way possible, but these two being brothers just means so much to me. They have such a wholesome dynamic and Longtail having a soft spot for his little brother is just so cute to think about. I like to think that when Swiftpaw was a kit, Longtail would find time to play with him whenever he wasn’t busy, and they both just really hoped that they’d be able to train together whenever he became an apprentice so imagine the excitement both of them had at the ceremony. Longtail is such a ‘protective big brother’ kind of guy and you know it. Also I love wholesome sibling relationships <3 Then we got Forest of Secrets when he saves Fireheart from H20 I’m REALLY proud of how I did on this shot :O I was torn between doing this and the scene where he says no to joining Tigerclaw when he gets exiled. I went with this one, since I just think it feels more heroic on Longtail’s part even though it’s still in the beginning stages of his development. I think there’s a subtle change to him in this scene and I like that. It shows that he’s not as cold as he acts in the first books :) Shot 3 is in A Dangerous Path, where Fireheart assures him that the clan needs him and he’s kind of caught off guard AHAHSJJSIWJWBEHDINSISISNSBSUD I LOVE THIS ONEEEEEEE. THEY’RE BONDINGGGGG! Also I live for Soft Longtail lol- The Great Battle, ohhh boy. This was probably the hardest one for me to draw, mainly because I couldn’t figure out how to draw Long’s scars T-T the quality messed that up ughhhhhh Anyway he be floatin with his super aesthetic space scars protecting Mousefur :D (Or trying to, anyway- he did oof the dark forest guy in the end tho so yeee-) This one wasn’t canon but I just love the thought of everybody chilling up in Starclan :) Whitestorm’s there too resting under a tree. Not sure why I added him, I guess I just needed some more folks in there since I accidentally made the others so small- Everyone’s happy now, yayyyy
