I made this project real quick because I literally just found out I’m not as active on Scratch anymore but like this is a huge issue. As much as I live laugh love FICTIONAL robots, I hate actual AI with a burning passion. It’s a scary thing. Not only is it stealing creative jobs, but it can also CREATE blackmail that didn’t even exist. I used to disable in stuff like characterAI but after I’ve done some thinking, it’s really dystopian. Don’t get me STARTED on how absolutely creepy deep faking is. And you can probably create a deep faked video for a couple of cents nowadays. It’s THAT BAD. But I’m getting off topic. Now Scratch is planning on implementing AI onto its site and I’m BAFFLED. Since Scratch was like the beginning of my exposure to an art community, I still have a special place in my heart for Scratch, with AI no where near it. The clownsite announced that they were selling data to AI a couple months ago and I couldn’t be more disappointed. I know pretty much everyone and their mother on Scratch knows about the possibility of AI on Scratch, but I just created this to spread awareness and to give my opinions.
