After years spent learning about wilderness survival, you decide to test your skills by living in the woods alone for fifteen days. Will you survive? Or will you perish in the forest? This is a quick game I came up with. I really liked the idea, so I decided not to waste the inspiration. I hope you enjoy! ┌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌┐ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Instructions └╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌╌┘ ☘ Set-up ☘ At the beginning of the game you will be asked to choose five items to bring with you on your journey. These are the things that will help you survive, so choose wisely! Once you've chosen, the game begins. Now, you must survive for fifteen days with only the tools you packed. ☘ Food ☘ There are several ways to get food. Food restores energy, and is necessary to survive. If you don't eat for too long, you'll lose energy much quicker. To hunt, click the rabbit on the screen. You must have packed the bow to be able to hunt. There is a chance you will see a rabbit while hunting. If you do, a colored bar will pop up on screen. Press space when the moving bar is on the green section to catch the rabbit. Fishing works the exact same way. Snares and the net passively catch food, with a chance of producing a rabbit or fish every morning. You must set them up through your inventory before they start working. Berries come from the berry bush. (Shocker.) They don't offer much energy, but they're good for resetting your starvation timer. To cook and eat your food, click on the item in your inventory. ☘ Water ☘ If you don't drink water for too long, you'll begin to lose energy, so stay hydrated! Collect water by clicking on the river, then drink it from your inventory. If you've packed the pot, you can boil it first to reduce the risk of sickness. ☘ Sickness ☘ Drinking unboiled water and eating uncooked food have high chances to make you sick. If you get sick, your energy will begin to drain very quickly. Boiled water and cooked food can also make you sick, but the chances are miniscule compared to not cooking your food. ☘ Fire ☘ Click on the sticks (or trees, if you packed the axe) to collect sticks or logs. Prepare the fire pit through your inventory. Click on the fire to light it. Once your fire is lit, you can add sticks/logs to the fire through your inventory to keep the fire burning for longer without having to relight it. Sticks allow you to cook one more thing before the fire burns out, and logs allow for three. That's it! Everything else in the game is pretty self-explanatory, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask them. Enjoy!
