She held the stick in her paws and slowly got up on two legs, holding on the stick for balance. she hobbled around and around, on the stick, looking very silly for some reason. she then hopped all the way to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a mouse, still standing on the stick. she couldn't quite balance though, and she tumbled around and around, finally stopping at the paws of her mother. "Sorry!" she mewed. xi. research [opt.] Albinism: Albinism in cats is caused by a genetic mutation which affects the melanin’s formation. Melanin is the pigment responsible for the colour of the eyes and the colour of the fur/hair. To be specific, the mutations in the TYR or OCA2 genes mess with the melanin production. To have albinsm, cats must get the gene from both parents. Albino cats are usually sensitive to the sun and can also have eye problems. Specific eye problems can be photophobia, myopia, or hyperopia.
