The Firefly Navy operated from the important city of Girffiy. On March 17th, a fleet made of 4 Frigates, 2 Destroyers, 3 Cruisers, and 1 Battleship, a third of the entire Firefly Navy including their most powerful warships. Slipped out of the harbor at 2042 hour. Sailing across the Firlance sea steadily making their way to Jurberg. It was not until the next day at 0628 hour, when the sun started to rise, they reached Jurberg. The Sheildholt Cost Guard unable to see what ships were coming until it was 500 yards left and this was when the sun rised high enough they sow the Firefly Navy flag flying high. It was far too late, and the city coastal walls began to be shelled. The Sheildholt coastal patrol fleet made of 5 Frigates, 1 Destroyer, and 1 Cruiser attacked. They moved to attack from east to pitch the Firefly fleet between coastal batteries and their fire. Admiral Sherman seeing the enemy movement he broke off from the shelling to hit the enemy fleet now away from their support on the shores. The prized RFN Bretic Battleship lead the attack with its 60 guns and opened fire in less than 300 yards. The explosive cannon balls crashed into the Sheildholt ships and before they could try and seize the ship by a boarding party. As Sheildholt sailors came aboard the large ship the 2 hand crank machine guns opened fire. The battleship and her escorts shot at the coastal defense fleet until each one was sinking below the waves. Admerial Sherman ordered them to head south and try to get the second Sheildholt southern city of Toulbrig. The Sheildholt Navy hearing of this defeat gathered all coastal defense fleets in the area to form a large enough force to hand this threat. The Firefly navy planned to shell both cities to show that their naval dominates. But the destruction of that fleet at fouled Sheildholts sailors for revenge, which concerned Admerial Sherman now worrying to be seen by local fishermen. When they reached the island of Yohut to take a break and allow some of the sailors to disembark to hunt. Was when sails raised above the horizon, the Sheildholt Defense fleet had arrived. They numbered with a total of 34 ships, most being Frigates expect the Battleship Badhafs. The Firefly fleet fired up their steam engines and turned southeast to head tors the enemy fleet but giving open view for their guns. The Firefly fleet equipped with their Powker-2 cannons had about 50 more yards of range then the enemy. This distance would allow them to stay barely out of the Sheildholt fleet range. Admerial Aderic sow the Firefly Navy movment and knew two that they need to close the distance as soon as possible, for the next hours the Sheildholt fleet charged at the Firefly fleet, but the Firefly fleet often turn throwing the Sheildholt fleet off. By the fifth time this happened Admerial Aderic finally realised that two ships from the Firefly navy were missing. They were slower and needed to catch up which why the Firefly fleet wanted a breack at the island of Yohut. These were the only two ironclads called the RFN Faithful Cruiser and its sister the RFN Hayloft Cruiser. A Frigate trying to flank the Firefly fleet suddle shoots rockets of distress before explosions erupt. The cruisers caught up and now without any gun that could aim low to take out the ironclads Adermial Aderic orders a retreat. The Firefly fleet seeing their retreating enemy chases the enemy and fires shells when they see one in range. Almost all of the Sheildholt fleet gets out only 7 Frigates that tried to flank the Firefly fleet were cut off and blow up by the cruisers.
