Hvitur, an IceWing, is trying to hide in a storm, a lightning flickers in the dark clouds above. He clutches his fragile cargo, revealed to be a SkyWing egg, closer to him, and believes that he could make it back to the secret cave. However, an enormous dragon with pale gold scales appears, and two more dragons behind her rose to the sky as she flicked her tail. A piercing shriek sounds as they grab the IceWing. The waiting dragon orders her soldiers to bind Hvitur's mouth, and they do as they are told, throwing a smoldering hot chain onto him. One of the soldiers hands her a dragon egg, and Burn squints at the egg, recognizing that it was not an IceWing egg. She hisses that Hvitur had stole the egg from the SkyWing palace, and says that Queen Scarlet had reported an IceWing thief sneaking away. Burn holds the egg above the fire, and muses about it's purpose. She points out that Blaze hated any dragon who was younger and prettier than she was, and suddenly realizes that Hvitur was part of the Talons of Peace. One of her soldiers wonders aloud if they're real, and Burn snorts that they were just a couple of worms crying over a little blood, before ordering her soldiers to unwrap his chains. Burn muses mockingly about how sad of a story it would be without a 'wings of sky' to save the world, before pretending the egg slipped away with an exaggerated lunge. Hvitur shrieks and tries to rescue the egg, he dodged the claw that reached for him the poisonous tail that hit the stone beside him he grabbed the skywing egg as he fell. he staggered back into the cave with the egg.
