—————————- Update on Athena —————————- Today, I decided to work with my new-ish horse, Athena. Athena is pretty green, and spooky, but I’ve gotten her to trust me, and I’ve gotten to riding her on a short trail. I quickly got Athena from the field. It had snowed a bit last night, (let’s pretend the horses have rugs on ;)) and I didn’t want to work her too hard. I lead her in to the wash stall, tied her up, and quickly put on her lunging things. She’s quite good at lunging, but she still has her moments. I lunged her for about an hour, then decided to ride her on a trail for a bit. Overall, Athena did rlly well, and im rlly happy with her progress.
