"The rougher the seas, the smoother we sail." The Isle of Serpents-Prologue ... Everyone at home talks about the Pirate's. No one sees them anymore, not for a while. The last time they stopped here was ten years ago, when I was just a babe. It's said that torn black sails appeared on the horizon, approaching with incredible speed. My momma has always told me the legends, of the mysterious ship called the Black Pearl, and the curse of the Aztec gold that plagued its crew and captain. But she also told me of another legend, one no pirate had ever gone the lengths to find. The Isle of Serpents. It's said to be so incredibly full of treasure, you couldn't spend it all, even in a thousand lifetimes. But there's a special magic that guards it, a new one. A dragon, a large sea serpent of incredible size. It's said to have incredible and deadly powers, and one of its many scales alone is worth a thousand pounds. I've had enough of this poverty-I wanted riches. Every time I look to the horizon, I think of momma-of home. But I can't go back home. I have to fine this dragon, find this treasure. But momma has told me enough legends, I know I can't do this by myself. I need help, from someone who has been to the end of the world, escaped death and Davy Jones locker, and found the fabled fountain of youth. I need Captain Jack Sparrow.
Thank you for reading this! :D So, if your wondering this book is supposed to take place kind of some time during/before the 4th movie, when Will is cursed and becomes captain for the flying Dutchman but before their super old :/ Also the Isle of Serpents actually comes from my own world, the world of Eeverland. Because pirates are a large part of that world, I decided to kind of combine the PotC and Eeverland worlds to create an epic Pirate crossover! This all happens before Eeverland is founded, when Siren's cove is still a place of poverty, as the main character lives in Siren's cove, pre-riches. if your thinking, wait, didn't king Eevermore create the Isle for Serpents before he died? Uh, no, he just created an extra trial after venturing there to find the dragon was already gone! (I'm gonna have to update that lol)
