Hi! Here I have my entries for Show Jumping, Reining, and Barrel Racing. 1. Reining - I brought Feather to Rein today because he and I (with help from Winter) have been working super hard on getting him show-ready. When we first got him he was pretty hard to handle because he had way more woah-than-go. He wouldn't listen and was super shifty and anxious under saddle. We worked with him on his English (which wasn't great) before we found out he's a Western horse, so we switched over. He's doing great now, and we're all super excited for his debut! 2. Barrel Racing - I brought Jack for Barreling because we took him in as a six month-old colt. He was a scared yet strong but lame and injured Mustang. The goal, as soon as Winter and I took on this Project, was to make a wonderful show horse. We started him under saddle at the age of 2, and it's been a year. He learns super fast, has a ton of energy, is extremely quick on his feet, and is a hundred percent ready to show with us now. 3. Show Jumping - Although we wanted to use this show to gain experience for our young, first-time Western horses, we had to bring along Astra. We bought her a year ago or so, and she's super reliable and skilled and an excellent mount for all experience levels. She's shown many times before, so whenever we bring new horses to competitions, she goes too. I'm jumping her today, and I'm super excited to ride her again, for we haven't shown her in a couple months. Winter, my kid, was pretty disappointed that I was going to be riding Feather and Jack today because we both worked on them... but after all they are my horses. We really can't wait! <3 Feather: @CloudyEcho Feather's Tack: @sealifefriend Jack: @stellar-skies (me) Jack's Tack: @mangosaresoyummy Astra: @CloudyEcho Astra's Tack: @mangosaresoyummy Show: @Ash5LC
