Steps for proper functioning: 1) press [import]. 2) Press 'see inside' or use Turbowarp 3) import a text file that has file names and their contents on sequential lines, like the ones you get with "export all" in the Branches IDE. This text file needs a file named "project.ini" with a line reading "entry file:myprogram.sapi", as well as a file named "myprogram.sapi" at the very least. You can also show the project's name and the creator's name - see inside for a more comprehensive example. 4) click "done". If you didn't make any mistakes, then you should be given the options to "run" or "publish" your program. If you click run, then the program will run, and pressing the green flag will return you to the same screen. If your username equals the "name:" field in the project.ini file, pressing "publish" will lock the scratch project as having loaded your programs, and that will be what any user of the project sees moving forward. You can then download this project and reupload it as your very own SAPLING project!
Hello! In the past few weeks, I've released Branches ( https://scratch.mit.edu/1049920905 ). And it is a wonderful IDE. But on Scratch? Slow as molasses. SAPLING, however, runs faster than molasses. Even on Scratch! And it's about time I released a project that could really show that. The Acorn packager has a step by step process that allows you to import a full SAPLING application which can then be run at any time by anyone.
