Honestly, I can't BELIEVE scratch team would even FATHOM having AI ON A KIDS SITE. There are so many unknowns, like inappropriate content coming up. AI is unstable and will make this site lag longer. While we still have issues that NEED fixing, scratch team is going to prolong them FARTHER into the future. FIX THE ISSUES THE SITE HAS NOW. SO MANY PEOPLE WILL LEAVE BECAUSE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS IDEA OF ADDING AI. AI is NOT creative in any way, and it encourages art theft. Not in any way does AI help, instead it's just an easy avenue for art stealers. AI "steals people's art and gives it to someone else to use. If Scratch adds this feature, every scratcher that uses it is doing something called stealing art, which was already a problem here on Scratch. Secondly, scratchers, instead of drawing, they will be using AI to make sprites and backdrops and art. Art is one of the main things of Scratch, along with programming, and the AI feature will take that away from us. Lastly, AI ruins art. Since it mashes up different art pieces, it always ends up looking nothing like the art piece you asked for. Who's with me on how AI cannot be added, or it will practically tear this friendly community apart? Remix to spread awareness, just credit me for the art, or else you are just like AI." All of these are GOOD and EXPLAINABLE reasons why scratch should fix our current problems and NEVER allow AI into this site. Scratch team, if you are reading this, please take this into consideration if you are still thinking about doing such a thing. Read other sources and visit studios protesting against this, you will find that your decision to put AI on here is WRONG. Above all else, this pressing matter is in the scratch teams hands, not in ours. We will have to fight many battles, but overall win this war.
