So this is going to be a soft mount, and I’ll share my progress along the way. :> Skipped all the gory parts. I am currently putting together armature, which will be inserted into the hide to position the soft mount as I wish. The yellow thing is electrical wire taped up in electrical tape. The grey thing is my cat. He says hi.
Ignore the mess, I am in the middle of moving. Edit: I have added more wires since then to provide strength.
