yeaaaaahhhh so i finally made some ref sheets for my toh au characters + my hunter redesign :3 i barely started working on this au btw so there’s rlly not that much lore involved yet lmao (i haven’t even named it uuuugggggghhhh) so i’ll try my best to give a brief description and sprinkles of lore for each character hhhhh- (also i need to clear up that Belos isn’t rlly a “bad guy” in this au) —————— Shyann - also goes by “Shy” (she prefers that rather than her actual name) accidentally stumbled upon the Boiling Isles (just like Luz, who is ironically her cousin. Except in this AU, Luz never even goes into the Boiling Isles) and was immediately captured by Lilith and other coven scouts, forced to join the emperor’s coven or else she’d be petrified. Impressed by her performances, the Golden Guard promoted her to be his “right-hand girl” (too cliche, i know) Only a select few know she’s human. Hunter - also known as “The Golden Guard”, Hunter has spent the past 4 years proudly serving his uncle in the emperor’s coven under that title. Although Shy works alongside him, he finds her a bit…annoying. But because she’s so determined, he keeps her around and often trains her Kieran - also known as “the Crimson Bandit” is a third year student at Hexside who specializes in illusion magic. Kieran is the main antagonist in this AU. despite being so young, he’s been declared the best thief in the Boiling Isles. his origins are unknown, but for some reason he seeks revenge badly (on who? i cant tell cuz spoilers heeehehehehe). He uses his necklace to conceal his true identity to attend Hexside and over all just blend in with everyone else his age. Alex - also known as “IX” or “9”, Alex escaped his lab rat life under the same experiments that his sister Vee participated in. Not knowing of his sister’s whereabouts in the human realm, he stays undercover deep in the forests near Latissa. He was given the name “Alex” by Shy because it sounded similar to “IX”. —————— Toast - a brown lop bunny given to Shyann for her 14th birthday, he’s been attached to ever since. Despite being a timid and fragile animal from the human realm, he never leaves Shy’s side, even on missions. He gets along really well with Flapjack, almost like the two are brothers. (i named him Toast before they revealed the name of Dell‘s palisman, who’s name is also Toast) Flapjack - became Hunter’s palisman one day during a mission when Hunter was 11. Belos had no idea about Flapjack being Hunter’s palisman, but once he did, he ultimately let his nephew keep him since the two were so attached. During the early days of being Hunter’s palisman, the boy refused to take Flapjack on missions to prevent him from getting injured, hence the reason why he still used an artificial staff. Flapjack still belonged to Evelyn in this AU. Donut - Kieran’s palisman and partner in crime, he uses her power to mimic other’s voices for thievery and heists. The two work and cooperate well, although he often neglects it whenever she fails during missions. It still loves Kieran no matter what and does anything in her power to please him. He created Donut when he was 7 using stolen Palistrom wood and designed her after a parrot from a book about birds he found, which may have came from the human realm. Mango - officially became Alex’s palisman during the timeskip at the end of the series. He was carved by Hunter as a gift to Alex. Mango doesn’t even affect the lore so he is IRRELEVANT /hj —————— the rest is just height differences and other outfits used :3 BUT YEAH. i hope i actually get to make this into a main thing that i post about because it’s all i’ve been drawing and thinking about for the past few weeks lmao
