Design belongs to @Greystar2-0 so. I tried to work with the instructions and colors you gave me. I really tried. However, it was real hard. I will go through and detail my process. 1: cleaned up sketch of original concept. not much to say there. 2: Redid sketch with current style+brush. Inside ears can be whatever color idc, and nose was taken from the pink. Looks very blank outside of that part of the flank, and the blue with the purple-blue in the eyes is jarring, but not too bad. The biggest frustration with the colors is revealed in the next slide. 3: No contrast. There is so, so little contrast. Everything blends together. The face is where the viewer is pulled, and then to the flank, which is an awful lot of empty space, and then when you get there there it's just colors that are too similar (darkness), yet jarringly different (orangey(almost yellow)-brown with a really bright pink??). this does not feel very good to look at. 5: Kept the brown the same, except I de-saturated a tiny bit and made it darker. Made the pink more orange. Made the iris more purple to fit with the purple sclera. The sclera could have turned more blue, but I thought it was more striking as a purple. Still a lot of empty space, and i re-arranged some spots. 6: Gray-scale. A lot more contrast. 7: Added some more patterns. Didn't want to add too much because that would take away from your original idea(+more complex), which is why I skipped the forelegs and back. I also stuck with rule of three. 8: Gray-scale. could do with some extra spots but i held back. Use whatever design you like best, and if you want to improve upon them in any way, please do so.
