By AI images, I'm exclusively referring to generative AI such as drawings, music, or chat bots. Not all forms of AI, which have been used long before it became a buzzword. Machine learning and assistive AI do not have these issues. Video game NPCs don’t have those issues, either. Generative AI has several issues. Even ignoring the environmental damage (which could always be adjusted in the future to use less water and less energy), people in poor countries are made to find illegal websites and keep them out of the AI, which traumatizes them because they see super traumatizing things, and they barely get paid for it. If they made other AIs do the work instead, the people who run illegal websites can easily trick the AI into thinking their illegal stuff is legal and the AIs would say and generate even more harmful things. Also, they use Google images as their database, which can have images that people don’t want to be used to train AI. I wanted to make this to not only make sure people don't get tricked when others try to pass off an AI image as human made, but also to avoid quick accusations of AI imagery without the time to stop and think.
