Welcome to Bambus OS 5.10, also known as "The Developers Update", the brand new update to the well loved Bambus OS 5! We've introduced lots of new features, from new apps to new extra experimental features! CHANGELOG (5.11) Bug fixes: -Implemented Bambus OS Kickstarts, which by default bypasses bootmgr as the Micro Consen's first stage bootloader and loads any Bambus OS version installed, no matter if bootmgr entry is valid. This fixes a common issue where Bambus OS 5.10 would hang at a white screen, where bootmgr was failing boot. USERS USING VERSIONS OLDER THAN 5.11 MAY STILL BE REQUIRED TO MODIFY KERNEL FILES OR WIPE THE FILESYSTEM (change /kernel/boot.bat to `bambus_os_kickstart os.bambus_os-any`) CHANGELOG (5.10) Major changes: -New app: Bambus OS Devtools => Monitor syscalls, create new apps and interact with the kernel, the power of Bambus OS is now easily available in developer's fingertips -New app: Iris Browser => Browse the internet via Iframe with tabs to easily group websites -Cursors => New cursor API allows for cursor customization. The Settings app now features an option to change default cursor style in the Personalization menu. -A shutdown sound has been added, made by @DeafyLeaf/@CaveOS Minor changes: -Settings: The menu button to enter Settings -> System -> Advanced has a new warning icon -OOBE: Changed loading to integrate it with the boot animation -New wallpapers: "Abstraction" -Added new optional system watermark -Added boot logs -Settings => New refresh rate option (144 FPS) and custom refresh rates added Bug fixes: -Removed wallpaper flashing on startup -"Add account" option in Settings now uses the Bambus OS Bootstrap to create a user account, as opposed to the native Micro Consen Account System to create user files -Settings => 60 FPS is now correctly shown as the default option in Settings => System => Refresh Rate Lab features: -New Login Menu: Revamped login prompt, more convenient than the previous one. You can enable it by going to Settings -> Advanced and toggling the "Enable new login prompt" switch. However, it will not run on system boot, to use the new menu, log out of the current user once you're in desktop. (WARNING: This feature is not finished and may be buggy, that's why we didn't make it default yet)
