Wow its been a pretty long time since I've been on scratch, but i got back into art after a while of art block and i thought it would be nice to do some DTA's to improve my art skills! so i made a lil drawing of this BEAUTIFUL DTA and made up a small story for them while i did! im really proud of it, since my art style changes literally every time i draw lol. So this girly's name is Mantis, and on her world there's a war going on between creature's with magic and those without, she is on the side of magic. she has the ability to grow herbs of all kinds, like medical plants or poisonous berries. she mostly uses this to heal her comrades. the creatures without magic won the war, using terrifying weapons that no one had seen before, and wiping out most of the magical creatures. because of this, there are a few magic users in hiding, which, once they are found out, are killed. mantis is currently doing her best to hide her powers, and live in the society that ripped away her entire world. this drawing is mantis before the end of the war, shes far more scarred and bandaged later on. If anyone wants to see me draw something, just ask! i only really draw cats and dragons though, so i might not do anything else. im trying to improve my art so if you have any oc's or anything, if you give me a reference i would be happy to draw it! (i might not though :,) )
I hope people like this! i worked really hard on it and im super proud of how it turned out!! unlikely, but just in case the choosing gets hard or im tied with someone, dont worry about giving me the design! i really just wanted to improve my art and draw something i thought was pretty, i dont really need the oc.
