Yep, I had another horse show. Space/click for next photo. DAY ONE: 1. Grace was feeling spicy today so was pretty fancy. Don’t mind my eq- 2. This is the second way and we kind of didn’t walk- but we were pretty good otherwise! 3. We were heading into line up after some horse reared right in front of us. 4. Yep, we won first! Since this was pleasure, we did pretty well! 5. This was our victory pass and Grace was like “my friends that I don’t like are leaving!” 6. This is my favorite of us, I like my eq and the way Grace looks too. Day Two: 1. This is first way of my eq class and Grace was a little angel. At the time anywho 2. Second way now, our headset was a little bit wacky this rail but we fixed it later. 3. Yeah, so we kind of got stuck at the very end and a little confusion happened with the line up but after that we somehow won first place! 4. Yeah, on our victory lap we got a little bit canter-y and accidentally canted lol 5. We got back to a trot and very nice victory pass. 6. And this is us leaving the ring with a friend! Day Three: 1. Eq was our first class today and she was really good! We just had a few slip ups. 2. Almost ran the photography over here.. but good picture! 3. This is our second way after me accidentally giving too much reign. 4. Us going into lineup.. 5. We got reserve champ! 6. This is pleasure, our second class and omg Grace was amazing! Headset was so good, her walk was amazing, and my form was great! 7. Our first way still. 8. This is our second way, it was great. 9. Heading into lineup getting… fourth. Of four. I was so disappointed, same with my trainer because but kind of excited for my younger friend who’s horse cantered right in front of the judge on accident won. I was happy for her but insanely disappointed and almost cried. Then the girl that got second, her horse wasn’t good either and my actual competition got third… I just don’t know how I got first, first, second, then fourth. And this was my best ride of the show! Call me mean but I didn’t say this to anyone else, I just acted happy as I felt like I wanted to cry. 10. This is Grace and me in her stall as I told her she was an angel. 11. She had an itch lol
Update: the judge put me in last because I jigged a little at the walk.. I had gotten stuck in another class here and got first though- and he saw it all- Another update: Almost cried myself to sleep :)
