When he made it there he went to the Old Man’s camp. Linkle was there waiting for him. “Hey,” she said. He could sense that she was angry. “I finished the Shrine. The Old man came over to me and told me that he changed his mind.” Link nodded. “I’d guess he would say that.” “We have to complete the other two Shrines. There’s one in the ruins by the tower and one upon a cliff. I can get the one in the ruins.” “That's probably for the best,” Link mumbled. “What was that?!” Linkle said dramatically. “My own brother thinks I’m too clumsy to climb a cliff!?” She smirked and Link laughed a bit. “See you soon,” she said as she smiled. Then she ran off, tripping every so often. Link climbed up a hill and ran into an encampment of monsters. Bokoblins, he remembered. Over a fire was a piece of meat cooking that looked extremely tempting. The Bokos noticed him and they grabbed their weapons. Link had his tree branch but it wasn’t very strong. He hit one of the Bokos with it and it splintered into pieces. Link had knocked over the Boko and it had dropped its wooden club. Link picked it up and bashed the Boko’s skull. It was dead. Link saw a cabin up ahead and headed to it. In front of it was the old man sitting by a fire. “Hello, young one,” he said. Link looked at him. “What are you up to? Finding the Shrines? Take this axe with you.” He handed Link an axe that looked handmade. Link took it and hurried his way to the Shrine. He was stopped by a ravine that looked super deep. There were a few tall trees near the edge. Link cut one down and made a bridge. It was very thin and Link thanked himself for not letting Linkle join. He crossed the bridge and climbed the cliff. When he arrived at the Shrine he placed his Sheikah Slate on the scanner. The blue seal appeared. The door opened. Link entered the elevator. When he got down he saw a gear turning a platform, a Sheikah dripper, and, in the distance, the end of the Shrine. Link heard a voice. “To you who sets foot in this shrine… I am Owa Diam. In the name of the Goddess Hylia, I offer you this trial.” Link headed over to the dripper and placed his Sheikah Slate in it. The energy dropped onto his slate. Link looked at the newly added rune. “Stasis,” it read. “Stop the flow of time for an object: Stops an object in time while storing its kinetic energy. The stored energy will act upon the object when the flow of time resumes. Making good use of the stored energy can move even the largest of objects.” Right as he had read that two bombs appeared on his screen. Linkle must have gotten them at her Shrine. I probably should have done that one. She’ll blow herself up! he thought. Link took his slate and activated Stasis. He stopped the gear when it was lined up. He crossed the platform and saw a ball rolling down a ram. Link started to go up the ramp and when one of the balls was close he stopped it. He made his way to the wall of the Shrine and picked up a sledge hammer. He turned and blocking his path to the exit was a large stone ball. Link stopped time and hit it a bunch. When the flow of time resumed, the ball went flying. Link touched the monk’s bubble and it exploded. “Your resourcefulness in overcoming this trail speaks to the promise of a hero…” the monk said. “In the name of Goddess Hylia, I bestow upon you this Spirit Orb.” A Spirit Orb flew from the monk’s chest to Link’s. It healed his wounds. “May the Goddess smile upon you.” Link was teleported to the entrance of the Shrine. The Old Man was waiting for him. “Link…” he said. ‘Meet me at the top of the Temple of Time. There I will tell you the truth.” Thanks for reading!
